Support
Email us at mail@eudaitec.com — a real person reads it, and we aim to reply within two business days.
It saves a round trip if you include your phone model, your OS version, and the app version (Settings → About in the app). Support is offered in English.
Setting it up
Android: pauses aren’t appearing
Almost always the Accessibility service has been switched off or killed. Go to Settings → Accessibility → Bring Me Back and make sure it is on.
If it keeps turning itself off, your phone’s battery optimiser is stopping it. On Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Realme and some Samsung devices, long-press the app icon → App info → Battery and set it to Unrestricted, and enable Autostart if your phone offers it.
iPhone: pauses aren’t appearing
On iPhone a pause is triggered by a personal automation in Apple’s Shortcuts app, and you need one per app you want to pause. The app has a guided walkthrough — open Setup and follow it for the app that isn’t pausing, because the Shortcuts layout changed in iOS 26 and the right steps depend on your version.
Check the automation is set to Run Immediately with Notify When Run switched off — otherwise iOS asks for confirmation instead of running it, and the pause never appears.
If Shortcuts isn’t on your iPhone, install it free from the App Store.
Website blocking isn’t working
On Android, blocking runs as a local VPN, and Android allows only one VPN at a time — if you use another VPN, it will take over and blocking stops. Sites using encrypted DNS (DoH/DoT), and apps that carry their own DNS settings, can also get past the filter.
On iPhone, website blocking needs iOS 16 or later and uses Apple’s Screen Time filter. If it stops working, re-grant Screen Time access in the app. It covers Safari and in-app browsers.
No filter catches everything, and neither version filters your computer.
Subscriptions and billing
How do I cancel, or get a refund?
Subscriptions are billed by the store, not by us, and you cancel them in the store: Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your Premium features keep working until the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds are handled entirely by Apple or Google. Email us anyway if something went wrong — we can often tell you what happened, and we will back up a fair request.
I paid but Premium isn’t showing
Use Restore purchases in the app’s Premium screen, making sure you’re signed into the same store account you bought it with. A lifetime unlock and a subscription both restore this way.
If it still doesn’t appear, email us with the store receipt and we will sort it out.
I have Keep Me Out Premium — does it carry over?
Bring Me Back and Keep Me Out can share one Premium entitlement by linking your device with a QR code. Open the link screen in either app and scan the code the other one shows, or type it in.
The code links devices only. It carries no name, email or store account, and scanning it only pre-fills the screen — nothing is redeemed until you tap to confirm.
Turning it off
How do I switch it off or uninstall it?
You can always leave, and we deliberately haven’t made that hard.
Android: turn off Settings → Accessibility → Bring Me Back to stop pauses, and turn off the content filter in the app (or revoke the VPN under Settings → Network → VPN) to stop website blocking. Then uninstall normally. If strict mode is running, website blocking cannot be weakened from inside the app until the period you chose ends — but uninstalling still works.
iPhone: delete the Shortcuts automations to stop pauses, revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings, then delete the app.
Uninstalling deletes all the data the app kept on your phone.
Delete my data
Your pause history, reflections and blocklists live on your phone, so uninstalling the app removes them. There is no account to close.
If you connected the optional web dashboard, or redeemed a gift code, email mail@eudaitec.com asking us to delete that data and we will confirm within one month. See the privacy policy for exactly what is held where.
Requirements
- Android 7.0 or later. Hard Block and keyword filtering are Android only.
- iPhone on iOS 15.1 or later, with iOS 16 or later needed for website blocking. Pauses need Apple’s Shortcuts app.
